Mark and Peggy Sims - 2012

Mark and Peggy Sims, members of the pastoral team at Kingwood Assembly of God Church for over thirty years, have spent their lives training young adults in Christian discipleship as they direct the Birmingham Metro Master's Commission. Mark, a speaker and author, and Peggy, a worship leader, are both avid Bible teachers, seeking ways to communicate how God's Word can be applied in everyday life. They met in college at Samford University, and have been married for 32 years, with two married daughters, and two wonderful grandchildren. As a teen, Mark attended Alabama CFO, "cutting his teeth" on the rich worship, teaching and fellowship of the CFO family.
